Pat Sajak, who has been the host of ‘Wheel of Fortune’ for more than 40 seasons, has announced that the 41st season will be his last.
Seacrest was also hosting American Idol too.

“I’m truly humbled to be stepping into the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak,” said 48-year-old host and producer.
“I can say, along with the rest of America, that it’s been a privilege and pure joy to watch Pat and Vanna on our television screens for an unprecedented 40 years, making us smile every night and feel right at home with them.” He stated on his Instagram post.
“Pat, I love the way you’ve always celebrated the contestants and made viewers at home feel at ease,” he added. “I look forward to learning everything I can from you during this transition.”
“I can’t wait to continue the tradition of spinning the wheel and working alongside the great Vanna White,” he concluded his statement.
He did left the show ‘Live!’ after six years for he wanted to focus on ‘American Idol’.
Sajas stated that he is grateful for the journey he had during these 40 seasons. He added “been a wonderful ride.”
After Sajak’s statement, Vanna White, who was with him on the show nearly since he began, said that she couldn’t be happier to be in the same stage with him.
